Dress Code & etiquette

Here at Haggs Castle Golf Club, we aim to maintain a dress code that is both modern yet retains the traditions of golf.  Where appropriate, we encourage a relaxed approach to dress standards however we insist that all Members, and their guests, adhere to this at all times.

Our Club Professionals, Clubhouse Staff and Managing Secretary are responsible for ensuring adherence to our dress code and have the authority to enforce it.  We therefore expect all Members and their guests to comply with any requests from those staff on dress code matters. No offense is ever intended, and they are acting merely on behalf of our Council of Management when fulfilling their duties.

Members also have the right to politely challenge any Member or guest not adhering to the dress code.

Whilst the following information is not exhaustive, it gives a clear sense of what is, and more importantly, what is not permitted in certain areas of our Club.  We expect all Members to comply with the spirit of this code.
